Stellar Blade is not the only game announced by Sony during the state of play. Hyung-Tae Kim is an old-fashioned game developer and is widely used for the Magna Carta series and Blade & Souls. The game is being developed by Korean studio Shift Up, a newer company headed by Kim. In September 2021, the announcement trailer went dead on the back of the game. Bosses will be a key part of the game, forcing players to move more forward with their attacks and learn the best strategy if they won’t be damaged. Xion is filled with others, many of whom Eve can build relationships with and help rebuild the city. During Xion, Eve meets Orcal in the town, and has many stories about how to save the planet. On Earth, they find a survivor named Adam in Xion the last surviving city. Stellar Blade stars Eve, a space traveler who travelled to an extinct Earth with his friends. Stellar Blade is a sci-fi based game inspired by the likes of other PlayStation titles like Nero: Automata. As a single-player-oriented action game, it meets the action and graphic quality required for AAA-level titles, and plans to publish it to current-generation stationary consoles such as PS4 and XBOX ONE and PC (STEAM). Stellar Blade is coming soon for a PlayStation 5 exclusive. Project EVE is a console platform project that contains the goal of Shift Up's global AAA title development. Project Eve was originally set to launch on the Xbox and PC with the PlayStation, but it’s no longer the case. Meanwhile, cosmetics can be earned to give players a sense of personalization.Sonys September 2022 State of Play recently announced the jumpstart of the next generation of projects in the year after the initial announcement. Project Eve will take advantage of the DualSense’s haptic feedback, too, to help the game’s brutal combat feel even more immersive. So it appears the game will meld together multiple styles of gameplay into a single cohesive experience. Shift Up has stated that we can expect combos that weave together and special moves that can be earned by parries and evasions, giving you cool skills such as super armor, enemy combo interruptions, or even a wide selection of attacks like leaping stabs and sweeping swings.įighting won't be the sole focus, however, as we’ve also seen snippets of footage that show off some interactive navigation, such as Eve swinging from poles to cross gaps and sliding through a tunnel while dodging obstacles. Learning attack patterns is of paramount importance, but so is learning to balance aggression and defense, so as to take advantage of openings. Players will engage with enemies in intense, challenging showdowns that require mastery of the game’s systems - attacking, defending, countering, and evading. The hulking bosses and strategic combat feel borrowed from Dark Souls, while the over-the-top tone and flashiness feel like they were taken from something like Devil May Cry or Bayonetta. Project Eve looks like it’s melding together elements from a variety of other popular games, and that’s no bad thing.
